You did an excellent job of slowly, methodically, and clearly communicating some of the methodologies you use in your work today. I really appreciate your teaching style and I hope to take another class from you in the future.

Boris Eldagsen

Boris is a German artist and AI expert, known for his thought-provoking exploration of artificial intelligence in creative practices. He gained international attention in 2023 after winning a prestigious photography competition, only to later reveal that his submission was AI-generated, sparking a global debate on AI’s role in art. In many ways, he is both a disruptor and an innovator, and he brings that same energy to education. With a teaching degree in fine arts and philosophy, he has lectured at international art academies and universities since 2003. In Eldagsen’s world, creativity isn’t static; it’s a playground of possibilities where students are pushed to experiment, fail, and rethink the role of machines in their work. His classroom is a lab for the future of art, where insights, creativity, and cutting-edge tech collide and the rules are rewritten daily.

Frequently asked questions

Is the workshop live?

Yes, because it is important to Boris to answer all the participants‘ questions and to carry out and discuss prompt battle exercises together. This is the only way to pick up every individual with their level of knowledge.

What makes this workshop different from all the others?

Boris has been teaching at university level for over 20 years. He has worked practically and theoretically with AI-generated images and videos since early 2022 and is one of the best-known experts on the subject – internationally. Many participants come back for new workshop formats because they were very satisfied with the old ones.

Do I need specific software or do I have to create an account on a AI platform?

You only need zoom: https://zoom.us/download

Boris uses his own AI accounts for the workshops. This gives you a good overview about the different platforms – without any additional costs.

Do I have to take notes?

No, the most important facts are provided as an overview slide. In addition, the recording of the session is available to participants for 4 weeks.
